New York City (NYC) Marathon Results 2010

New York City (NYC) Marathon results 2010 are already available for both the men and women’s race. Approximately 38,000 runners are expected to take part in the ING New York City Marathon on November 7, 2010.

Ethiopia's Gebre Gebremariam won the men's title of this year's NYC Marathon, pulling away after world-record holder Haile Gebrselassie retired with an injury 16 miles into the race. His finishing time was 2 hours, 8 minutes and 14 seconds.

The female winner was a Kenyan named Edna Kiplagat with a time of 2:28:20. This was a fantastic race. The top American man to finish at the New York City marathon was 6th overall.
